- Tourmaline takes its name from the Sinhalese turamali, meaning mixed stones — a reference to the parcels of mixed colours that reached Europe from Sri Lanka in the eighteenth century.

This ring was designed and manufactured in our Adelaide studio by Peggy Wajer, who has been designing around individually cut gemstones since 1985. Every stone is chosen by Richard Moser, who learned the trade from his father Bruno — a gemstone cutter whose work was supplied to Tiffany & Co., Cartier and Mikimoto.
