Find the Aquamarine Piece That Fits Your Style

Aquamarine is a member of the beryl group, just like emerald. However, unlike its fellow gemstone, it has greater transparency and clarity, with high-quality stones being completely see-through with no cloudiness. There are some specimens with a slight icy blue hue, while others tend to have a bluish green color.

Aquamarine Stones

Loose stones, selected individually and ready to be set.

Rings

Solitaires, trilogies and cocktail settings in 9ct and 18ct gold.

Necklaces

Pendants and chains in lengths that layer without tangling.

Earrings

Studs and drops that brighten without weighing the lobe.

Aquamarine has a distinct appearance compared to other blue gemstones.

Aquamarine is used extensively in jewellery as it is quite durable for regular wear. This gemstone’s hardness rate falls between 7.5 and 8 on the Mohs scale, which means it can be used for rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants, and bracelets.

Today, most aquamarine gems in jewellery are mined in Brazil, Madagascar, and Nigeria. The higher the clarity of an aquamarine stone and the stronger its color, the higher its value.

From rich crimson to deep blood red, every setting is designed to suit everyday wear and the moments worth remembering.

Our Ring Collection

Aquamarine Rings

Aquamarine rings have a fresh and light appearance and do not carry the weight that some other dark stones have.
While some customers choose a vintage style featuring engraving, a milgrain edge or even filigree, others opt for a simple, elegant design, one which puts the emphasis on the stone. Both designs will work well depending on the type of aquamarine used and its color.

Ruby Jewellery, The Birthstone of July

Ruby has been the birthstone of July for centuries, and it is easy to understand why. Of all the stones associated with a birth month, ruby carries one of the strongest visual identities. The moment someone sees it, they know it. It is not subtle, and it was never meant to be.

For those born in July, wearing a ruby is not just wearing a birthstone. It is wearing the stone that has been prized above almost every other gemstone in history, valued by royalty and collectors across cultures for its extraordinary colour and the way it holds its presence in any light.

As a gift, it is the kind of choice that goes beyond occasion. It says you paid attention. You chose the most extraordinary stone you could find, because that is what the person means to you.

Ruby FAQs

How hard is Ruby compared to other gemstones?

Ruby sits at 9 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond. That makes it one of the most durable gemstones available and an exceptional choice for rings, bracelets, and earrings worn every day.

Is Ruby treated?

Most rubies on the market are heat treated to enhance colour and clarity. This is standard practice in the trade, widely accepted, and always fully disclosed on every stone we supply.

What is the difference between a light red and a blood red ruby?

Light red rubies are brighter and more vibrant, while blood red rubies carry a deeper, more saturated intensity that makes them the most prized and valuable shade in the ruby range. The right choice depends on how bold you want the piece to feel.

Is Ruby the birthstone for July?

Send an enquiry with the piece you are interested in or the look you are going for. We will confirm what is available, provide pricing, and help you find the right stone and setting for what you have in mind.

Questions We Are Asked Most Often

What is Aquamarine?

Aquamarine is actually a member of the beryl family which includes emerald and morganite. The blue-green color of aquamarine is due to small amounts of iron within its molecular structure, while the natural transparency of the stone creates exceptional sparkle and shine in the finished piece of jewelry. It’s a reliable gemstone that retains its beauty in every light.

Bezel setting will protect your aquamarine by encircling the edges of the stone from potential damage due to daily usage. A halo setting surrounds the center stone with additional diamonds or gemstones and provides added protection to the edges of the stone. Claw setting exposes more of the edges of the stone, however also provides the best visibility of its color.
